High School... Graduated from Woodland High School in May 2008... earned five letters in track and field and one letter in cross country... won the AA state qualifier meet in the 100m and 200m... went on to place third in both events at the AA state meet... recorded personal-best times  of 12.27 in the 100m and 25.76 in the 200m... ran 1:02 in the 400m... ranked No. 8 in the state of South Carolina for the 100m dash and No. 22 for the 200m dash... holds Woodland's school record in the 100m and 4 x 100m relay... region champion for five consecutive years... Woodland was the runner-up lowerstate champions for two consecutive years... earned the Best Long Sprinter, Most Valuable Runner and Female Athlete of the Year awards... also earned the Most Valuable Runner award for Region 5AA girls track.

Personal... Born Nov. 20, 1989... daughter of Martha and Hercules Johnson... sister to Cheryl and Acquannette... attended the same high school as Tye Hill of the St. Louis Rams... chose The Citadel over Claflin, College of Charleston, Voorhees College and South Carolina State... majoring in health, exercise and sports science with a concentration in sport management.
