FRESHMAN (2009-10): Started at 133-pound weight class … overall record of 18-17… went 6-7 in dual action … picked up four major decisions, three pins and a tech fall … placed fourth at All-Academy Championships … took fourth at SoCon Championships … finished fifth at freshman/sophomore tournament at Michigan State.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered four years in wrestling... four-time district champion, three-time regional champion and four-time Virginia state placer at James River High School in Richmond, Va. ... NHSCA National Open Finalist and tallied a career record of 183-23.
PERSONAL: Son of James Dix and Debbie Johnson ... majoring in health exercise and sport science … older brother, Josh, wrestles at Lindenwood University.
