BEFORE THE CITADEL: Spent four years at Binghamton…compiled a 13-15 career record…registered a pair of pins in 2020-21…posted an 11-12 record as a freshman, including two pins and two technical falls.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Wrestled at Alexander High School…finished prep career with a record of 258-13…three-time state champion…finished runner-up the other year…five-time all-league selection…named male athlete of the year for surrounding counties…also lettered in football and baseball…two-time league all-star in football…three-time league all-star in baseball.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Mark and Kelly Heberlein…working on graduate certificate in leadership.
