DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Columbia, S.C.:
- Take I-26 East to the Rutledge Ave exit, EXIT 219A, toward The Citadel.
- Take a slight right onto Rutledge Ave. and drive for 1.2 miles.
- Turn right onto Moultrie St. and follow until it ends at Lesesne Gate, the main entrance to The Citadel.
- Once on campus, take first right onto the Avenue of Remembrance and continue to the end at a stop sign.
- Turn left onto Jenkins Ave. and continue to the stop sign.
- McAlister Field House is on the right.
From US-17 Southbound:
- After crossing the Ravenel Bridge, continue along US-17 South, then turn right onto Hagood Avenue at McDonald's.
- Follow Hagood Avenue past the football stadium and enter The Citadel through the Hagood Gate (If the Hagood Gate is closed, turn right onto Huger Street, turn left after one block onto Elmwood Street, then turn left after one block and enter The Citadel through Lesesne Gate).
- Once on campus, drive until Hagood dead-ends at Summerall Field and take a slight right onto the Avenue of Remembrance. Continue to the end at the stop sign.
- Turn left onto Jenkins Ave. and continue to the stop sign.
- McAlister Field House is on the right.
From US-17 Northbound
- Immediately after passing the round Holiday Inn (on left) and crossing the Ashley River Bridge, exit US-17 toward the right, but stay in the exit ramp's left-hand lanes until you reach the traffic light.
- Turn left onto Lockwood Drive, continue .5 miles and the road will turn to the right and become Fishburne Street.
- Go .3 miles, then turn left at the stoplight onto Hagood Avenue.
- Follow Hagood Avenue past the football stadium and enter The Citadel through the Hagood Gate (If the Hagood Gate is closed, turn right onto Huger Street, turn left after one block onto Elmwood Street, then turn left after one block and enter The Citadel through Lesesne Gate).

PARKING
There is adequate parking on campus and within a few minutes' walk from McAlister Field House throughout campus. Handicap parking is available at the front of McAlister Field House on game days in a first-come, first-serve capacity. Fans are permitted to park in unmarked spots anywhere on campus. We urge everyone to join The Citadel Brigadier Foundation which has parking available based on the level of contributions.
Please obey local traffic ordinances on campus.

Handicapped Parking
Handicapped parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the faculty/staff lot outside McAlister Field House. A state-approved handicapped permit is necessary.
FACILITY INFORMATION
Gameday should be an enjoyable experience for all fans and safety is a primary concern. We encourage everyone to display a high degree of sportsmanship at all times. Spectators are not allowed, at any time, on the playing field or sidelines until after The Citadel Alma Mater is played at the conclusion of the game. Face masks should be worn at all times and social distancing should be maintained at all times.
The Doors to McAlister Field House open 1 hour prior to tip-off. Once inside the arena, fans may access seats via elevator or stairs on each side of MFH.
Announcements
Announcements will be made for emergencies only. If an emergency occurs, please contact your nearest stadium official.
Baby Changing Stations & Tickets
Baby changing stations are located in women's restrooms on the first floor. Children over the age of 2 need a ticket for admission.
Cameras
Video and still cameras are allowed. Pictures must be taken from the patron's seat and may not block aisles and walkways. Court-side access is limited to credentialed photographers only. Photos taken on The Citadel's campus and inside McAlister Field House may not be sold or reproduced for commercial purposes unless approved by The Citadel's licensing agent.
First Aid Station
First aid is available to guests. In case of an emergency, please notify your nearest arena official.
Game Programs
Game programs are available during every home game at the entrances to the arena.
Lost & Found
Items lost or found inside of the arena may be identified at the Guest Services Table on game days or at McAlister Field House during the week. The Citadel's Public Safety Office also operates a campus lost and found. They are located next to Capers Hall at Lesesne Gate and can be reached by phone at (843) 953-5114.
Masks
Masks are required at all times for athletics events held in McAlister Field House. Masks must be worn at all times unless the patron is eating or drinking.

Prohibited items may not be carried into nor used inside McAlister Field House. Check-in facilities are not available.
Clear Bag Policy
The Citadel has implemented a clear bag policy at all events inside McAlister Field House.
Approved bags include:
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" –A logo no larger than 4.5" x 3.4" can be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag,
- -gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar),
- Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" –approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap,
- Medically necessary items (after proper inspection), and diaper bags (after proper inspection) will be permitted for families with infants and toddlers. The child must be present.
Recycling
The Citadel encourages everyone to think green and recycle in the stadium and at your tailgate. Recycling containers, provided by Pepsi can be found throughout the arena.
Social Distancing
Fans are asked to social distance during athletics events inside McAlister Field House. Groups of 6 or more are not permitted to sit in consecutive seats. See local guidelines for more information.
Solicitation Policy
Solicitation or distribution of materials by persons not pre-approved by The Citadel Athletics Marketing Office is prohibited. Banners, flyers, pamphlets, or any other paraphernalia will be disposed of by game day security, and solicitors will be escorted off the premises. The selling of any item by anyone other than The Citadel authorized personnel, including in parking lots, is prohibited.
Tobacco Use
The Citadel campus and McAlister Field House are smoke and tobacco-free at all times. Tobacco use, in any form, is not allowed in the arena in seating areas, enclosed areas, or either concourse.
TICKET INFORMATION
The Citadel's Athletic Ticket Office is located in McAlister Field House on the back, right-hand corner of the campus. Tickets for all athletic events are available there. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover orders can be made in person or by calling the Ticket Office at (843) 953-DOGS. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or by
purchasing here.
The McAlister Field House ticket booth opens one (1) hour prior to tip-off through halftime on game days.
On gameday, fans are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance.
Player Guests
Tickets left by players may be picked up at the player pass entrance 60 minutes prior to tip-off.
Per NCAA regulations, all persons receiving complimentary admission must present a photo ID.
Recruits & High School Coaches
As Per NCAA rules, no tickets will be available for recruits and high school coaches for the 2020-2021 basketball season.
Re-Entry
Patrons may NOT leave and re-enter McAlister Field House during the 2020-2021 basketball season. Once you enter McAlister Field House, you not be permitted to leave and then re-enter.
Lost Tickets/Reprints
Reprints are available at the customer service window in the Ticket Booth. The Citadel is not responsible for lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets, and refunds will not be issued. Reprinted tickets will be issued to take the place of originals, upon verification of seating location. Tickets will be reprinted for the ticket holder of record only. Replacement tickets will have precedence over the original tickets.
Will Call
The will-call window is located at McAlister Field House Ticket Booth.
Persons picking up tickets at Will Call must show a photo ID.
Wanding (metal detection)
Wanding will take place as fans enter McAlister Field House. Please refer to the prohibited items list above for banned items.
Designated Protest/Demonstration Zones
Any protest, demonstration, or gathering occurring at McAlister Field House is restricted to Summerall Field, located at the corner of Jenkins Avenue and Jones Avenue. Citadel Public Safety will direct and relocate demonstration participants to these respective designated zones, if necessary.
