2009… Opened the season with a time of 21:09 and a 40th place finish at the Gamecock Invitational (9/4)... finished 50th in the Elon Invitational (9/12) with a time of 21:15… best performance came at The Citadel Invitational (9/26) finishing with a 5k season-best time of 20:54 in 28th place… ran 21:32 at the Furman Invitational (10/10), placing 47th… finished 41st in the Winthrop Asics Fall Invitational with a 4k time of 16:24… concluded the SoCon Championships in 91st place with a time of 21:36.

2008... Ran 21:45 and finished 143rd in the Eye Opener (5k) to start the season... placed 98th and third on the team at the 6k Salty Seadog Invitational (9/13) at Navy with a time of 27:11... ran 21:17 at The Citadel Invitational (9/27) to finish 21st... ran a personal-best time fo 20:50 at the FLRunners.com Invitational (10/3) as she finished 36th... placed 31st at the 4k Winthrop Asics Classic (10/18) with a time of 17:19... finished 82nd overall with a time of 20:51 at the Southern Conference Championships (11/1).

2007... Ran 21:33 at the USC Invitational (8/31) to open her career as a Bulldog... finished 19th with a time of 21:58 at the Bulldog Duals (9/7)... ran 21:01 at The Citadel Invitational (9/29) to place 34th... ran 21:51 at the Walt Disney World Classic (10/6)...  ran 22:04 to finish 15th at the Lowcountry Invitational (10/13)... ran 21:56 to finish 82nd at the Southern Conference Championships (10/27).

High School… Graduated from Calvert High School in 2007… earned two letters in cross country and track, while earning four letters in swimming… cross country team placed seventh in the Maryland 2A regional meet… coached by Dave Spain.

Personal… Suzanne Marguerite Gay… born Nov. 2, 1989 in St. Leonard, Md…. Daughter of Bruce and Patricia Gay… chose The Citadel over the State University of New York… wants to join the Navy after college… majoring in biology.
