2021: Appeared in 14 games, making two starts…hit.278 with two doubles, home run and one RBI…went 1-for-1 as a pinch hitter against North Carolina A&T…delivered a pinch-hit, opposite field, home run at South Carolina…doubled as a pinch hitter against College of Charleston…came off bench to double against Western Carolina.

2020: Sat out as a red-shirt.

High School: Played for head coach Banks Faulkner at Blythewood High School…named 5A Player of the Year after hitting .390 with nine home runs and 36 RBIs…also posted a 0.86 ERA and eight wins…helped BHS to district, region and upper-state championships…earned all-region honors as a junior and senior…ranked as the No. 5 first baseman in South Carolina by Diamond Prospects…member of the Spanish National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Son of Mike and Kim Lanier…plans to major in exercise science.
