TRACK AND FIELD BIO
FRESHMAN (2020): Ran in five meets, finishing as team's first or second finisher... Made career debut at Mercer 8K Sept. 19, clocking in at 27:53.46... Improved by leaps and bounds at Columbia Oct. 3 with a season-best 26:08.00 for tenth place and the 24th-fastest time in program history... Won the individual title at Coastal Carolina's Chanticleer Challenge Oct. 16 with a time of 27:31.5 to lead team to first-place finish... Posted another sub-27 time at Newberry Oct. 30, leading team with a 26:47.08 mark for sixth place... Completed standout season at 8K SoCon Championships at Mercer Nov. 21, pacing the team with a 27th-place mark of 26:55.96 and a spot on the SoCon All-Freshman Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Spent final two years at Kadena High School in Ukuda, Okinawa, Japan where he was named the team's Most Valuable Runner … Set the DODEA Pacific 5K record with a time of 16:03 … As a junior, was named to the St. Louis Track Club 2019 All-Metro Cross Country First Team, and set a season-best time of 14:59.91 in the 3-mile IHSA 3A State Meet in Illinois.
