Fall 2007: Finished the fall season with a 1-5 mark against some stiff competition... went 2-3 in doubles competition teaming up with James Eason... Dossetor picked up his lone singles victory at the All-American Championships Pre-Qualifying against Iowa’s J.P. Ritchie, 6-2; 6-4... Dossetor and Eason’s two wins came against South Florida’s Svigelj and Toledo, 8-6, in the UGA Southern Intercollegiate Championships and the other coming against Duke’s Arnould and Stane, 8-6, in the ITA Regionals.
2007: Finished the season with a 14-9, 5-4 SoCon, singles mark... went 16-6, 8-1 SoCon, in doubles competition with teammate James Eason... Dossetor picked a career record 14 singles wins going on an impressive 10-game winning streak... became The Citadel’s first nationally ranked singles player ranked 118 in March...notable singles victories came against #25 Clemson’s Clement Reix and #44 Elon’s Damon Gooch... Dossetor finished fourth in the conference for the No.1 singles category... the solid doubles combination of Dossetor and Eason lost their only conference match to #44 Elon’s Damon Gooch and Mason Schermerhorn...the pair became The Citadel’s first nationally ranked doubles team peaking as high as 20th... also Air Force’s Robby Alexander and Ryan White would be the only unranked team that Dossetor and Eason would lose to... the duo collected two eight game winning streaks.
Fall 2006: Finished the fall season with an 11-2 mark with James Eason in doubles competition ... went 2-7 in singles competition, facing fierce competition, but went 1-1 against nationally ranked opponents ... paired with Eason for a Cinderella story run through the ITA Regional Championships in the doubles bracket ... defeated 14th-ranked Ytai Abougzir and Maciek Sykut of Florida State, 9-7 ... also topped Duke’s Joey Atas and David Goulet, 8-5, at the ITA Regional Championships ... fell in the semifinals of the ITA Regional Championships to Georgia Tech’s George Gelesiani and David North, 8-5 ... won the USC Fall Invitational doubles crown with Eason after topping Coastal Carolina’s David Mellis and Elliott Quibell in the finals, 8-3 ... dominated the USC Fall Invitational with wins over Charleston Southern (8-5), Samford (8-1) and Armstrong Atlantic State (8-4) doubles teams ... recorded a perfect 3-0 record at the Charleston Fall Challenge with wins over doubles teams from East Carolina (8-6), Appalachian State (8-3) and the College of Charleston (8-1) ... in singles competition, fell in three sets (1-6, 6-1, 6-3) to 18th-ranked Harel Srugo of Old Dominion ... rebounded from that loss to beat 59th-ranked Bruno Augostinelli of Kentucky, 6-7 (3-7), 6-1, 1-0 (10-9).
2006: Finished the season 12-10 in singles competition while going 16-5 in doubles, 14-2 when teamed with James Eason ... along with Eason, went 7-2 in conference doubles play ... went 5-5 in conference singles play ... posted a 6-1, 7-6 win over Charlotte’s Roy Sichel, helping The Citadel defeat the 49ers for the first time in recent history ... easily defeated James Madison’s Jesse Tarr in straight sets, 6-3, 6-1.
2005: Named Southern Conference Freshman of the Year ... received All-Southern Conference First Team Singles honors ... teamed with fellow freshman James Eason to receive All-Southern Conference First Team Doubles honors ... Played to a singles record of 12-10 (5-5 SoCon) all at No. 1 ... paired up with James Eason in doubles and went 12-9 (6-4 SoCon) all at No. 1.
