JUNIOR (2019-20): Named a Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-American for the third time in his career … Posted an average aggregate score of 1128.3 in 12 matches, including a 559.3 smallbore average and a 569.0 air rifle average … Started the season off with a third-place 1133 at VMI (Sept. 21), finishing fourth in both guns … Followed that up the following week with a season-best 1141 at home against Wofford (Oct. 5), finishing second in all three phases of the match, including a season-best 579 in air rifle … Finished third overall at home against UAB and Georgia Southern (Oct. 12) with an aggregate score of 1135 … Wrapped up the fall portion of the season with a season-best 575 in smallbore at Jacksonville State (Nov. 9), finishing fourth in the gun and 10th overall with an aggregate score of 1134 … Started off the spring semester off with a season-best 579 in air rifle in a home match with VMI (Jan. 25), finishing first in the gun and second in aggregate score with an 1132 … Showed improvement in each of the final three matches of the regular season with an 1138, an 1139 and an 1141 … Posted improving scores in smallbore in each of the final three matches of the regular season.
SOPHOMORE (2018-19): All-Southern Conference first-team selection in air rifle for second straight season … Named a Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-American for second time … Posted an average aggregate score of 1141.2 in 14 matches, including a 561.0 smallbore average and a 580.2 air rifle average … Set a personal-best air rifle score of 592 in season-opening match at VMI (Sept. 22) … Fired off a 580 or better in air rifle in eight competitions … Set a season high in smallbore with a 571 at the SoCon Rifle Championships (March 2) … Recorded three aggregate scores over 1150 on the year, including a season-best 1151 at North Georgia (Nov. 10) … Fired off an 1150 at home on January 26 and in the SoCon Championships (March 2-3) … Posted for of the mixed rifle team’s 10 best air rifle and aggregate scores … Ended the season with a fifth-place effort in aggregate score at the SoCon Championships … Finished third in smallbore and ninth in air rifle at the conference match … Following the season, competed in the USA Shooting 2019 Spring Selection Match at Fort Benning, Georgia.
FRESHMAN (2017-18): Southern Conference Freshman of the Year … First-Team All-Southern Conference in air rifle with a fourth-place finish at the 2018 SoCon Championships … Named a Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholastic All-American … Competed in the 2018 National Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs, Colo., finishing 50th out of 171 competitors in air rifle, improving his two-day aggregate score +18.2 points from the previous year when he finished 80th … Also finished 33rd out of 61 in three-position smallbore after not qualifying in that gun the year before, and improved his smallbore score by 22 points from the first day to the second, the largest improvement of any shooter at the event … During his first collegiate season, posted an averaged smallbore score of 566.3, an average air rifle score of 580.3 and an average aggregate score of 1146.6 … Posted the top team score in smallbore seven times, air rifle five times and aggregate eight times … Started his collegiate career off by leading the Bulldogs in aggregate score in each of his first six collegiate matches … Posted the top overall aggregate score total in four competitions and finished in the top 10 in 10, including ninth at the SoCon Championships … Competed in 14 events as a true freshman, leading the Bulldogs to a second-place finish in the SoCon Championships … Posted a season-best 573 in smallbore twice, first on September 24 in the NCAA Test Match at McAlister Field House and again on November 11 in a match with NC State and Georgia Southern … Had seven smallbore scores of 570 or greater on the season … Posted a season-best air rifle score of 586 on the road at Wofford (Feb. 3) … Scored 580 or better in air rifle in nine events … Shot a season-best aggregate score of 1155 twice, including in the NCAA test match (Sept. 24) and in a home match against Georgia Southern, UAB and Wofford (Oct. 28).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of James W. Robinson Secondary School, was a member of the varsity rifle, lacrosse and golf teams … As a senior, led the team to victories in the regional and state championships and was named to the All-Metro second team … Won the individual state championship crown for men in 3p air and led the team to the national championships at Camp Perry, Ohio, where the team placed 36th … Took first in the men's standing air rifle at the NRA National Championships in Bloomington, Ill., and placed fifth overall in the competition … Participated in the Junior Olympics at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., and finished 80th in air rifle … Ended his high school career as an A-B honor roll student and earned the Athletic Academic Award for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher while in season … Was also an Eagle Scout.
