FRESHMAN (2011-12): Led all Bulldog shooters in his first collegiate match, firing an air rifle score 562 at the SEARC 1 competition … finished freshman campaign with an air rifle average of 561.33, second best on the men’s team … competed in all 12 matches in air rifle, earning nine varsity letters … averaged a smallbore score of 542.88 per match … earned two letters in smallbore with his best match coming against Air Force and Ole Miss where he carded a 562.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of the Sarasota Military Academy ... four-year varsity member of the rifle team where he was named the team captain for three consecutive years ... rifle team was state champions for all four years ... placed 7th out of every Army JROTC Rifle unit in the world.

PERSONAL: Born on March 23, 1993 in Seaside Heights, N.J. ... son of Maya Wutzer and Scott Artz ... majoring in exercise physiology.
