2005... Started off his freshman year strong, running a 53.50 split in the distance medley relay at the UNC Indoor Invitational as the DMR team finished sixth with a time of 10:38.88... dropped his 400m time below the 52.00 mark at the Irwin Belk Invitational, where he finished 12th with a time of 51.18, setting a new personal record in the event... ran a 52.60 split in the 4x400m relay as The Citadel won the event at the Furman Quad Meet with a time of 3:30.28... that same relay team finished third at the South Carolina Collegiate State Championships the following weekend with a time of 3:25.23 as Sagmiller ran a 49.90 split... ran a 50.50 split in the 4x400m relay at the SoCon Outdoor Championships as The Citadel placed fourth with an overall time of 3:21.23... had six top-10 finishes in the 400m hurdles during the outdoor season, including a third place finish at the Tar Heel Open with a time of 58.70... ran a 57.41 in the 400m hurdles at the Solid Orange Classic, finishing second... finished the SoCon Outdoor Championships with the sixth fastest time in the 400m hurdle prelims with a time of 56.56, a new personal record... ran a 57.17 in the finals to finish sixth overall.
