Biography
SOPHOMORE (2013): Earned a fifth place finish at the Gamecock Indoor Invitational in the pole vault with a mark of 12’5.5” … finished third at the USC Gamecock Invitational in the pole vault with a mark of 13’1.5”.
FRESHMAN (2012): Earned all-freshman team honors by the conference for his performance in the decathlon at the outdoor conference championship meet … finished in 10th place at the 2012 Indoor SoCon Championships in the heptathlon with 2,139 points … season-best pole vault of 13’11.25” came at the USC Weems Baskin Relays … took second place at the Palmetto Classic in pole vault with a clearance of 13’4.5” … finished in 11th place in the javelin at the Palmetto Classic with a throw of 123’8”.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas … lettered in football and track … earned Freshman of the Year and team MVP while part of the track team.
PERSONAL: Son of Vicki and Harvey Aikman … majoring in criminal justice.
