Graduated from Dorman High School in May 2009... lettered three times in cross country and one year in track and field... posted a personal-best time of 17:15 in the 5k... also ran a 4:50 in the 1600m... was a member off the Dorman 2008 Cross Country State Championship team... participated in the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Medical Society and Key Club.

Personal... Born Dec. 29, 1990... son of David and Sharon Hasty... brother to Cody... chose The Citadel over Clemson and College of Charleston... majoring in biochemistry.
