JUNIOR (2013): Ran a season-best time in the 400 at the 2013 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships with a mark of 50.19 to earn an 11th place finish … posted a season-best time at the Tiger Paw Invitational in the 60 with a mark of 7.25.

SOPHOMORE (2012): A member of the 4x100 relay team that took fourth place at the outdoor conference championship meet with a time of 41.88 … ran a time of 6.82 in the 55 at the Gamecock Invitational … finished in 16th at the Palmetto Classic with a 100 time of 11.77 … ran a 400 time of 51.12 at the Weems Baskin Relays.

FRESHMAN (2011): Competed on the 4x100 relay squad at the Palmetto Classic … earned a third place finish with the 4x100 relay team posting a time of 42.40 at the SoCon Outdoor Championships … finished 60th out of 83 squads on the 4x100 relay team with a time of 43.29 at the Penn Relays.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Fort Dorchester High School … earned three letters in football and track and field … also lettered in basketball … participated in the state championship in 2010.

PERSONAL: Son of Kevin and Patricia Poland …  majoring in psychology.
