Biography

JUNIOR (2012): Took eighth place at the outdoor conference championship meet in the high jump with a clearance of 6’1.25” … finished in ninth place in the decathlon with 5,063 points at the outdoor conference championships … finished in second place in the high jump at the Gamecock Invitational with a mark of 5’10.75” … took fifth place in the javelin at the Palmetto Classic with a throw of 144’.75”.

SOPHOMORE (2011): Placed first in high jump at the Gamecock Invitational … competed in the decathlon at the 2011 SoCon Outdoor Championships.

FRESHMAN (2010): In his lone competition of the season, earned a first-place finish in the high jump at the Palmetto Classic with a clearance of 5’6”.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Wando High School … earned three letters in track and field and two in football … all-region track runner … a member of Wando’s state championship team in 2009.

PERSONAL: Son of Coy and Britt Gaston … also a member of the Bulldog football team … majoring in political science.
