Biography
2025: Ran a 1:25.48 time in the 600 meters at the Gamecock Opener, the fourth-best mark in program history...posted a personal-best 1:56.86 time in the 800 meters at the SoCon Outdoor Championships...was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed fifth at the SoCon Indoor Championships with a 3:23.82 time...recorded a season-best 4:17.41 time in the 1500 meters at the Weems Baskin Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country and track and field at Jack Britt High School under head coach Ricky Stoker...qualified for the state meet.
PERSONAL: Son of Tom Carey and Christie Carey.
