Career Tournament Log

SENIOR (2016-17): Competed in all nine tournaments … finished second on the team with an 84.94 scoring average … started the season with a 64th place finish at the Navy Fall Invitational as she recorded a pair of 84s … continued her string of 84s with one in the first round of the Starmount Forest Fall Classic and finished in 59th place … carded a pair of 85s to tie for 37th at the Winthrop Intercollegiate … fired a 79 in the final round of the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic to finish 26-over-par … shot a team-leading, two-round score of 171 at the Benbow Invitational to place 22nd and record her first top-30 finish of the season … tied for 68th at the Low Country Intercollegiate with rounds of 89 and 84 … capped her career with a 42nd place finish at the SoCon Championships as she finished 28-over-par.  

JUNIOR (2015-16): Posted the third-best scoring average on the team (84.67) as a junior, the lowest scoring average of her career… Participated in and finished all 21 rounds and 10 tournaments, one of only two Bulldogs to do so… Began her junior campaign by carding the second-best three-round score of her career with a 255 and placing 48th overall… Recorded the lowest 18-hole score of her collegiate career with a 5-over-par 77 in the second round of the Sand Shark Shootout and placed 16th overall with a 16-over-par 160 for the tournament… Followed with the lowest opening-round of her career with a 10-over-par 80 at the Forest Oaks Classic… Wrapped up the fall campaign with a 26-over-par 170 and a 47th-place finish at the Terrier Intercollegiate… Had the best tournament of her spring season, resetting her career-low in an opening round with a 78 and backing it up with an 83 in round two to card a 17-over-par 161 and tie for 19th out of 65 competitors at the Benbow Invitational… Finished her junior season with a 12-over-par 84 and was one of three Bulldogs to place in the top five in a dual victory over Wooster College at Patriots Point Links.

SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Finished with an 87.50 stroke average in her second season on the team … participated each round (22) of the 10 tournaments on the schedule, sharing that honor with Eraina Manor and Cameron Little … began the fall season with a 36th place showing at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate following rounds of 86 and 84 … wrapped up the Wendy’s Intercollegiate in 46th following a score of 263 with rounds of 91, 87 and 85 … kicked off the spring season by tying placing 24th at the Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational as she tallied a 178 (86, 92) … rallied from a difficult performance at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Classic to tie for 15th at the Dayton Hilton Head Invitational, firing an 80 in the one-round event that included Appalachian State, Dayton, Notre Dame College (Ohio) and The Citadel … carded her second top 30 of the season as the finished with a 27th place showing (178) in the Cape Fear National Intercollegiate with rounds of 93 and 85 … capped off her season with a 42nd place outing at the Southern Conference Championships with scores of 87, 78 and 82. The round of 78 marked her lowest collegiate round in two seasons with the Bulldogs.

FRESHMAN (2013-14): Finished her first season with an 88.81 stroke average in nine tournaments for The Citadel … began her career with a 161 (81-80) at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate where she tied for 58th place … recovered from an opening round 99 to fire an 86 and finish in 41st place at the Myrtle Beacn Invitational in late September … brought home her first top 40 performance with founds of 82 and 89 at the Savannah College of Art & Design Fall Invitational in October … tied for 10th place with an 87 at the Hilton Head Invitational tri-match that featured Dayton and Appalachian State … continued her solid play with a 10th place outing in the dual match with Dayton after carding an 86 … fired a 173 (80-93) at the Low Country Intercollegiate to finish tied for 39th … wrapped up her rookie season with a three-day 285 (95-94-96) at the SoCon Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2013 graduate of Granville High School … earned a pair of first team all-conference selections, one second team all-conference honor and two team Most Valuable Player awards … 2011, Sucha was instrumental in leading her team to a ninth place finish in the state.

PERSONAL: Renata Sucha… daughter of Andrea and Steve Vanderink … majoring in business.
