2023 Southern Conference All-Freshman Team

2025: Appeared in five games, starting all five on the mound…posted a 0.72 ERA in 25.0 innings pitched…held opponents to a .138 batting average…struck out 25 batters on the season…opened the season with 5.0 scoreless innings against UIC, striking out four and allowing just two hits…struck out a season-high seven batters in 4.0 innings pitched against Maine, giving up two hits and allowing one run…tossed 7.0 scoreless innings against Yale, striking out five batters and allowing just three hits…earned the win against Northwestern, tossing 6.0 innings, striking out six batters, and allowing just one earned run…threw 3.0 scoreless innings against Kennesaw State, striking out three…ended up with a 3-0 record in games started, and The Citadel amassed a 4-1 record in the five games he started.

2024: Appeared in eight games for the Bulldogs, recording an 11.74 ERA on 7.2 innings pitched with 11 strikeouts.

2023: Appeared in 20 games, making five starts…went 2-5 with a 3.56 ERA and one save…struck out 53 over 48.0 innings…allowed one run on three hits and four strikeouts over 4.0 innings in first start against Charleston Southern…allowed one run on two hits and six strikeouts over 4.2 innings in a no decision against LIU…tossed 3.2 shutout innings of relief to pick up the victory over Kansas in the first game of the doubleheader…did not allow a run over 2.0 innings to pick up the win against Charleston Southern…allowed just one baserunner over final 1.2 innings to earn the save against UNCG…did not allow a run over 1.2 innings against NC State…threw season-high 5.0 innings in series opener against Western Carolina, allowing just one run and striking out six…got the start against Mercer in the SoCon Tournament.

2022: Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Jeff Lipscomb at Boiling Springs High School…named a Perfect Game Underclass All-American…named the region player of the year after going 8-0 with a 0.55 ERA as a senior…struck out 81 in 58 innings pitched…also selected all-state after hitting .410 with six home runs and 26 RBIs…member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club
 
PERSONAL: Son of Kevin and Mary Alice Holmes…plans to major in civil engineering.
