SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Competed in a dual against Norther Illinois on Dec. 17 and fell to Trace Engelkes in the 174-pound weight class. 

FRESHMAN (2015-16): Wrestled at Spartanburg Methodist, finishing 1-9 overall... Competed in five dual matches and wrestled at The Citadel Open on Nov. 1.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played football and wrestled at St. James High School for four years each… recorded the most pins on the team his junior year.

PERSONAL: Son of Murray and Judy Mewhorter… older brother and teammate of Michael Mewhorter… majoring in business.
