2008-09: Second year starter at 157, went 18-16 overall and 8-7 in dual meets... registered one major decision and 10 pins (tied for third on the team and in the SoCon)... SoCon wrestler of the week on Feb. 4... placed fourth at All-Academy Championships... went 4-0 at The Citadel Open.

2007-08: Started at the 157-pound weight class for the Bulldogs... notched an 18-19 record including a 7-8 record in dual meet action... secured bonus points in more than one quarter of his matches with five major desicions and five falls... recorded his first collegiate win at the Pembroke Classic where he placed second... finished out the season's tournaments placing fourth in the All-Academy Championships and the Southern Conference Tournament, respectively.

High School: Three-time varsity letterwinner of the Brandon High School wrestling team... five-time All-Area and five-time state placer... member of the 2006 and 2007 Florida state champion team... team held the longest winning streak in history going 450-0... coached at Brandon by Russ Cozart.

Personal: Born on Sept. 9, 1989... son of Jamie and Keith Koziel... majoring in criminal justice.
