FRESHMAN (2010-11): Went 4-5 on the season in tournament action at 133 pounds… registered a record of 4-2 at The Citadel Open to start the season that included two pins and a major decision.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time state finalist at Summerville High School in Summerville, S.C. … member of the 2007 state championship squad… tallied 150 career wins.

PERSONAL: Son of Don and Katherine Ashby … majoring in civil engineering.
