CAREER RECORD ENTERING 2013-14: 42-6

FRESHMAN (2012-13): Became The Citadel's highest placing wrestler in program history and just the second All-American ever, taking fourth place in the 141-pound bracket at the NCAA Championships ... after earning the sixth seed at the NCAA meet, he won three consecutive matches, including a 3-2 overtime thriller the fourth-ranked wrestler in the nation, to become the first Bulldog in program history to earn a spot in the semifinals ... spent the entire season in the top 10 in the nation in the 141-pound weight class and cruised to his first Southern Conference championship ... named the SoCon Freshman of the Year. He earned three consecutive wrestler of the week awards in December and was the wrestler of the month as well ... exploded onto the wrestling scene, grabbing national attention after defeating the country’s ninth-ranked grappler in just his third collegiate bout ... earned the 141-pound title at the Navy Classic and All-Academy Championships ... took first place and earned Most Outstanding Wrestler at the nationally recognized Reno Tournament of Champions ... topped eight ranked wrestlers, including four who were ranked in the top 10 ... five of his six lossees were against top 25 competition ... earned seven wins by fall ... collected second place against some of the nations toughest competition at the Southern Scuffle and earned third at the Nittany Lion Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in wrestling for four years ... part of the Cadet National Championships and Cadet Asian Championships in 2005 and 2006.
