REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015-16): Finished the season with 2-7 record … started first dual of career against Anderson (11/11) … picked up first win of the season by fall in The Citadel Open (11/1), finishing the tournament 2-2 … participated in the Wolfpack Open and the Southern Scuffle.

FRESHMAN (2014-15): Competed unattached at various tournaments while redshirting.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School in Tunkhannock, Pa. … finished with a 57-44 overall record as a four-year varsity letterwinner … posted 33-10 record en route to winning the Coaches Award as a freshman.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Donald and Almeda Appleby ... cousin Nick Appleby wrestled at Middle Tennessee State from 2008-12 … majoring in civil engineering.
