Adam Rabon joined The Citadel Athletics in November of 2022 as Assistant Director of Facilities, Grounds and Operations.
Adam started his career at The Citadel in May of 2004. Prior to joining The Citadel Athletics, He worked as The Citadel Facilities and Engineering Grounds Shop supervisor. He has worked for The State of South Carolina since April of 1999. He also worked as a concession worker at Citadel football games in the early 90’s, serving sno-cones to countless cadets in the stands at Johnson Hagood Stadium.
Primary responsibilities are assisting the Assistant AD for facilities and the Assistant AD for Operations. Adam also oversees the maintenance of equipment used in the department and access control for all Athletics Facilities.
Adam is a Lowcountry native, growing up on James Island and West Ashley, having attended James Island High and Saint Andrews Parish High and Trident Tech where he studied automobile mechanics, small engine mechanics and horticulture. He is a Certified Pesticide Applicator and a Certified Landscape Professional through Clemson.
Adam and his wife Elsie live on campus with their pet family.
