SPARTANBURG, S.C. –The Citadel volleyball team dropped its match in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on Wednesday against Southern Conference opponent Wofford.

The Bulldogs (6-13, 1-2 SoCon) held a close first set against the Terriers but fell 25-20. The Terriers returned to sweep sets two and three to nab the 3-0 victory.

Coming up for the Bulldogs are two home conference matches in McAlister Field House on Friday and Saturday. The Bulldogs will take on Chattanooga at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and East Tennessee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Chattanooga Mocs are 8-8 overall this season and 1-1 in the conference, with their single conference loss to Western Carolina on Friday, Sept. 22. ETSU is 5-8 overall and 1-1 in conference after a loss at home to UNC-Greensboro on Sept. 22.
