Charleston, S.C. The Citadel Cross Country returns to action this weekend as the Bulldogs return to Milliken Park in Spartanburg as Wofford hosts the 2008 Southern Conference Championships Saturday at 10 a.m.

Both teams are hoping to improve on eighth place finishes at the 2007 SoCon Championship meet. The women's race is set to begin at 10 a.m. while the men's race will begin at 10:45 a.m.

The men's team is led by junior Brendan Kight, who has been the top finisher this entire season. On the women's side, the team is led by junior Katheryn Gatewood. The El Paso, Texas native has been the top finisher on the women's side in four of the five meets this season.
