Bulldog Cross Country to Run in the Salty Seadog Invitational Saturday

Annapolis, Md. The Citadel cross country teams will compete in the Salty Seadog Invitational in Annapolis next to the Naval Academy's campus Saturday morning in their second meet of the season. The Bulldogs were led by juniors Brendan Kight and Katheryn Gatewood at the Eye Opener meet in Spartanburg last week.
This year's men's meet will have a total of 15 teams and 149 runners, one of the largest fields for a men's race in course history. The women's meet will have a total of 16 teams and 216 runners, one of the largest fields for a women's race in course history.
The Navy Invitational marks the first meet the Bulldogs will compete in since the passing of former teammate Will Wilson '07.
