Chapel Hill, N.C. - David Orces picked up the Bulldogs' lone win of the tournament as The Citadel tennis team concluded the ITA Carolinas Regional Tournament in the final fall competition of the season.

Each of the Cadets competed in the consolation round, which ended after one match, win or lose. Orces faced John Schmitt of East Carolina. After winning the first set 6-3, Orces downed Schmitt 6-1 in the second set for the match victory.

Also competing for the Bulldogs, Josh Cook suffered a tough 6-2, 6-3 loss to Alexander Michael of South Carolina, while John Dunn fell by the same score to UNC Asheville's Jason Brobeck. In a Southern Conference bout, James Atkinson faced Timion Meijs of UNC Greensboro. Meijs defeated Atkinson 6-0, 6-1. Dillon Berkabile rounded out the Cadet competitors in a matchup with Dominik Kaniewski of Campbell. Berkabile fell 6-0, 6-0.
