CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel has sold out the Pearson Club Level of Johnson Hagood Stadium for the 2015 season, it was announced Wednesday.

This is the first time in the history of the west tower, which included the new club level, suites and press box and opened for the 2008 season, that the Pearson Club Level has sold out.

"It is obvious that our fans are excited for what (head coach) Mike Houston and his staff are building, and we have seen that rewarded with loyalty from our club seat holders," Director of Athletics Jim Senter said. "The Citadel Brigadier Foundation and our ticket office staff have done a tremendous job being proactive creating demand and making the club level a desirable location to watch football games inside our stadium. This is another positive step for us as we continue to rise to the next level in Citadel Athletics."

Fans interested in attaining Pearson Club Level seating for the 2016 season are encouraged to join the waiting list. Priority for next season's club seats, if any remain after current club level renewals, will be based on donor points in the Priority Points System. Fans can increase their standing in the points system by purchasing 2015 season tickets and joining The Citadel Brigadier Foundation.

The Citadel football team opens its season Saturday with a 6 p.m. kickoff against Davidson.
