CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel golf team is set to compete in the eighth annual Low Country Intercollegiate hosted by Wofford on Saturday and Sunday. The tournament will take place in Hilton Head, South Carolina, at Moss Creek Golf Club's South Course, which totals 5,922 yards.
 
Eighteen teams make up the field at the Low Country Intercollegiate, including Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, Brown, Bucknell, Chattanooga, The Citadel, Dalton State, Gardner-Webb, High Point, Longwood, Navy, Presbyterian, SCAD, Seton Hall, USC-Beaufort, USC Upstate, William & Mary and Wofford.
 
It will be a two-round, 36-hole tournament, with 18 holes played on Saturday and 18 holes played on Sunday. Both days are slated to begin with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live results will be available at birdiefire.com.
 
Last season, the Bulldogs placed 13th overall at the Low Country Intercollegiate, carding a two-round team score of 679. Eraina Manor, who is now the Bulldogs' senior captain, led her squad at the 2015 tournament with a 21-over-par 165 (79-86) to secure a top-50 individual finish.
 
Manor placed in the top 10 for the ninth time in her career this past weekend at the Bulldog Invitational in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The Low Country Intercollegiate will be her and the rest of the Bulldogs' final regular season tournament of the 2015-16 campaign before the Southern Conference Championships from April 9-12.
