CSM'S COMPLETE ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS

Davis, the Bulldogs' junior center, was the anchor on one of the youngest offensive lines in the country. He started all 11 games in his first season playing center, leading a Bulldogs' front that featured three a sophomore and three freshmen in the starting lineup. Davis has started every game for the Bulldogs the last two seasons and made 23 consecutive starts

The Citadel led the nation in rushing for much of the 2017 season, eventually finishing second nationally at 294.6 yards per game. The Bulldogs rolled up over 400 yards rushing in back-to-back wins against Chattanooga and VMI in late October.

Davis and Furman offensive lineman Matthew Schmidt were the only two second team honorees for the SoCon. Samford defensive lineman Ahmad Gooden was named to the First Team Defense.

The Bulldogs finished the 2017 season 5-6, starting 3-0 and climbing as high as No. 8 in the FCS Coaches' Poll at one point.
