CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel volleyball team dropped a pair of road conference matches this weekend to UNCG and Western Carolina.

How it Happened - VS. Western Carolina

The Bulldogs dropped three sets to the Catamounts this Friday. The Cats were led by Abigail Veit who tallied 10 kills in the match.
Sumerlyn Carruthers led the Bulldogs with seven kills while Alicia Roberts tallied five blocks. Caricia Rodriguez led the team in digs with 12 on the night.

Greensboro got off to an early start taking the first set from The Citadel by a score of 25-16 and would take the following two sets to close out the match.
Mellanie King led the Bulldogs in kills tallying 11 over three sets. Defensively, three Bulldogs recorded double-digit digs in the loss.
