Citadel Volleyball Drops Match to Terriers

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel volleyball suffered their sixth conference loss at the hands of Wofford this Saturday.

How it Happened

The Bulldogs dropped three consecutive sets to the Terriers behind the offense of Wofford hitter, Catie Cronister who led the team with 13 kills.
The Bulldogs were led by Sharlissa De Jesus who tallied eight kills and six digs. Mellanie King ended the match with six kills to go along with a solo block and block assist. Dobrich highlighted the defensive side of the ball with a pair of solo blocks and four digs. Megan Fuhr continued to tally double-digit assists by notching 20 and 12 digs.
As a team, the Bulldogs recorded seven blocks and four services aces on the night.
This marks the second loss against the Terriers in their 2018 campaign.

"We are searching for consistency day in and day out, our goal is to do the right thing three times in a row but it doesn't always work out the way. We will continue to keep working at it for the remainder of the season."
