CHARLESTON, S.C. – Citadel football senior Tyler Davis earned another preseason honor Tuesday when he was named a STATS Preseason Second-Team All-America.
 
The All-America honor is the second of the preseason for Davis as he was also a second team selection by HERO Sports.
 
Davis is in his third year as a starter and anchors an offensive line that ranked in the top two in the FCS in rushing yards per game in each of the last two seasons. Last season, the Bulldogs ranked second in the nation in rushing at 294.6 yards per game, and amassed three of the top single-game rushing totals in the FCS.
 
The Bulldogs open fall camp at the end of this week in preparation for the 2018 season opener at Wofford on Sept. 1.
