CHARLESTON, S.C. – What was an uncertainty last season is a stable situation heading into the 2018 season. The offensive line returns all five starters that combined to start all 11 games last season.
 
The group is led by senior center Tyler Davis. The preseason All-America selection has started every game over the past two seasons. Over that span, the Bulldogs have ranked first or second in the country in rushing.
 
Davis will be flanked on each side by sophomores Jon Barrett Lewis and Jonathan Cole. Both players started every game during their true freshman seasons in 2017 and were selected to the Southern Conference All-Freshman team.
 
The tackle spots will be anchored by junior Drew McEntyre and redshirt sophomore Prince Howard-Whitaker. McEntyre was tabbed as a Preseason Second-Team All-Southern Conference selection.
 
Redshirt freshman Haden Haas is emerging as the backup to Davis. Haas sat out last season after earning first-team all-state honors at Cuero High School.
 
The Bulldogs will have more depth than recent years with Harry Easler at guard, and Mark Weakland and Denzel Wright at the tackle spots.
