CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel volleyball team closed out the College of Charleston Invitational with matches against host, CofC and UNC Asheville.

How it Happened - VS. College of Charleston

The Bulldogs took set one from the College of Charleston in their first set of the day by a score of 25-23. The Cougars would bounce back to take the next three sets and win the match.
Freshman Alicia Roberts had a career high five blocks against the Cougars, while De Jesus continued with double-digit kills for the fifth consecutive game.

UNC Asheville got off to an early lead taking the first set 25-17. The Citadel would battle back and take the second set, led by Sumerlyn Carruthers with 14 kills on the day.
Meagn Fuhr tallied 35 assists in the match to total 303 on the season so far.
