HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs broke up four different scoring runs in the first set before falling, 25-15.
- The Citadel took the third set after a neck-and-neck battle, mounting a five-point run to help put the set out of reach for the Paladins.
- Freshman Maddy Cardenas registered a career-high 11 kills on the night, including three service aces.
