QUOTABLES FROM COACH KRIESE
"Once again we played a very tough match against a tough Mercer team. I give them credit for coming through in the clutch and running to the finish line better than we did," said head coach
Chuck Kriese. "We pushed them and were in a position to have a close victory if we could have closed out some matches, but tennis does not give you anything easy until you are ready to go through the levels that you have to. Our team progresses every time out and we are continuing to go forward. I surely wish our season was two months longer and we had 30 more matches. This is a special group of guys and I hope that we will get a little bit of positive feedback for the hard work that they have put in with the way that they compete. We're very glad to get the victory over USC Sumter. Once again, that was a very well-coached team and they fought for every ball. We are very grateful each day that we have to compete."
