QUOTABLES FROM COACH KRIESE
"I give a lot of great credit to Toledo. The job that they did was very good," said head coach
Chuck Kriese. "Usually, we are able to push teams who have played a lot of indoor tennis into tough long matches. (Toledo's) ball striking was excellent at the top, but they also played some very tough tennis. I liked that
Jack Pyritz neutralized his player and pushed him to a third set tiebreaker. Philip Quinn's match took two whole hours of tough play before he took the lead and turned the match. Toledo played tough when they had to and it was a good win for them today. Our team is making great strides and we will see if we can continue to make some strides before we go into the homestretch and the important conference matches that are coming up."
