CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel mixed rifle team dropped a close match, 4612-4559, to No. 20 North Georgia Saturday morning at the Inouye Marksmanship Center. The Citadel women's team finished third with an aggregate score of 3238.
Cameron Bates was the top Bulldog shooter, finishing third with an aggregate score of 1155.
Charlotte Welsh finished right behind Bates with an aggregate total of 1153.
Max Brabston finished eighth with a score of 1131.
Three-Position Smallbore
- Bates led the Bulldogs in smallbore with a score of 575, finishing third individually.
- Brabston finished fourth with a score of 566.
- Welsh posted a 565 to finish just behind Brabston in fifth.
- Riley Neiders led the women's team with a score of 527.
- She was followed closely by Emma McCorkle, who shot a 526.
Air Rifle
- Welsh tied for the top score in air rifle with a 588.
- Bates placed sixth with a 580.
- Emily Perkins and Brandon Oerman tied for eighth with a score of 572.
- Demi Perez was the top shooter for the women's team with a 566.
