CHARLESTON, SC – The Citadel wrestling team fell to the App State Mountaineers , 44-0 Saturday evening.

The Bulldogs are now 2-3 in the SoCon and 4-4 overall.

Sophomore Dazjon Casto nearly captured a victory for the 'Dogs. Casto led 4-1 after the first round, but his opponent William Formato fought back through a tie-breaker to take the bout, 9-6

The Citadel will return to the mats Sunday, Feb. 16 as they host Chattanooga at 2:00 p.m.
