DALLAS, Texas – The Citadel tennis team closed out the month of March on Thursday with a 9-0 road victory over UT Dallas

  • The Bulldogs began the match by winning all three doubles points, including an 8-0 win by Noah Nawabi and Will Graham at No. 2 and an 8-1 victory by Phillip Quinn and Josiah Schainblatt at No. 3.

  • Graham rounded out the day with a three-set victory over Ashwin Vaithianathan at No. 2 singles. Graham won the first set 6-2, dropped the second 6-4 and clinched the win with a 7-5 win in the final set.

"This was a much tougher match than it looks. UT Dallas put up a great fight all day long and our guys were very clutch. I am hoping that this is not our last hurrah of the season as the team is finally hitting a good stride. This is just a reminder that we're not in charge of much in this life. We need to be grateful for everything we do and every match we get to play. I am proud of the guys. They are really coming together as a team. I am hoping that this whole thing will settle down and maybe we'll get to play again sometime soon."
