Bulldog Nation,
First, we want to thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate the unique landscape of college athletics and fall competition for our cadet-athletes. We could not agree more with the words of General Walters, "It is time to resume our mission and commitment to each other." During these trying times, our leadership has engaged in critical dialogue to present our loyal Citadel Supporters with respectful, fair and equitable options regarding their season ticket purchases for the 2020 fall football season.
Â
At this time, the Southern Conference has postponed all fall conference competition with the intention to move regular-season competition and championships to the spring. Additionally, all member institutions were given the option to participate in nonconference contests this fall given appropriate protocol measures are maintained to ensure the health and safety of our cadet-athletes, coaches and personnel. The Citadel is committed to giving our cadet-athletes the opportunity to compete. As a result of those efforts, the following football games have been confirmed for the fall 2020 Season:
- September 12th: @ South Florida
- September 19th: @ Clemson
- September 26th: vs. Eastern Kentucky @ 1:00 p.m.
- October 10th: @ Army West Point
Â
Time and time again, we have witnessed The Citadel Faithful answer the call to support our cadet-athletes. We are humbly asking you to step up once again in helping us contain the COVID-19 impact to a moment in our history and not an era affecting the cadet-athlete experience for years to come. Please know we understand the pandemic has had an impact on all of Bulldog Nation and we respect your choice! Below are the options for our 2020 Citadel Football Season Ticket Holders who opt out of attending the fall home football game or are unable to attend due to capacity restrictions:

Â
Like many, Citadel Athletics is navigating a historic financial challenge as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. While our fiscal situation is unlike anything we have ever faced, our resolve remains unchanged: to support our more than 350 cadet-athletes who entrusted our institution to give them every opportunity to develop and succeed as principled leaders while representing The Citadel on the playing field. We simply cannot complete our mission without your unwavering passion, generosity and commitment.
Â
"In life, you will find that your most memorable experiences and your most powerful relationships are developed when you overcome challenges. The Citadel is not and will never be the type of institution that yields to fear and uncertainty. The long grey line will remain unbroken." – General Walters
Â
We are grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for your support of Citadel Athletics!

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my 2020 Brigadier Foundation membership refundable?
No. Your TCBF membership donation benefits nearly 350 cadet-athletes in all sports attending our institution. Your annual donation allows TCBF and The Citadel Athletics Department to cover the cadet-athlete scholarship costs paid to The Citadel each year.
Â
Can I push my 2020 TCBF membership donation to 2021?
No. Benefits run on a calendar year.
In the event of a spring football season,
we will honor your 2020 TCBF Membership donation level in association with spring football benefits. However, for any other Benefits associated with 2021 calendar year (i.e. Baseball parking, Beach House access) you will need to renew your 2021 TCBF Membership.
Â
If I donate my tickets back for a tax deductible donation to TCBF, will I be able to attend home games during the 2021 spring season?
Fans that elect to convert their season ticket purchase into a tax-deductible donation will have priority access to the 2021 spring season pending availability based on state and local capacity restrictions at that time.
Â
Will I have access to the 2020 home football game(s) if I choose to donate my tickets as a tax deductible donation with TCBF?
If you choose to attend home football games hosted this fall, your donation will
not be tax deductible due to the receipt of ticket and parking benefits.
Those who wish to attend a home game but are not able to gain entry due to capacity limitations will be able to either donate their ticket purchase back for the previously mentioned benefits and priority access for the spring football season or request a refund.
Â
How will you determine who gets seats if only limited fans can attend?
Pending SC Department of Commerce approval for the determined capacity, priority access will be given those Season Ticket Holders who renewed their tickets by the extended July 15
th deadline and by your giving level and priority point standing within The Citadel Brigadier Foundation where applicable. Our goal continues to be to accommodate as many people as possible who wish to attend within the health and safety guidelines outlined by local, state, and federal health and government officials.
No single game tickets will be available.
Â
How will parking be handled for home fall football games?
After capacity is determined, parking passes will only be given to those donors who receive tickets to attend the game. More information regarding the parking lots that will be open and tailgating regulations will be communicated in the near future.
Can I buy tickets to away games?
At this time, all away game opponents have significantly decreased the allotted number of tickets given to visiting teams. If and when we are able to accommodate away game ticket requests, we will communicate that immediately. To note, priority for away game ticket requests is based on your TCBF Donor Level.
