How it Happened
- Jake Rotunda got the things going for the Bulldogs with a technical fall at 133 pounds. He quickly got a takedown and got three near falls in opening a double-digit lead in the first period.
- He would quickly get a reverse in the second period and ended the match with another two-point near fall.
- Ethan Willis gave the Bulldogs the lead for good in the fourth match as he used a pair of third-period takedowns to secure the major decision victory.
- Grant used a takedown in the second period to take a 2-1 lead into the third. He then got an escape and another takedown to secure the victory.
- Selwyn Porter entered the third period of his match tied 2-2, but quickly got a reversal and two-point near fall to open a four-point lead. He would add a takedown and the riding point for the final margin.
- In one of the most competitive matches of the evening, Cole Burke outlasted his opponent by one point. After he saw his four-point lead cut to one with a takedown, Burke was able to escape to push the advantage back to two. A late point for Queens made it a one-point final.
- The final two matches of the night went the way of falls for the Bulldogs. Ben Stemmet needed 3:43 to get his pin at 197 pounds, while Michael McAleavey took care of business in 4:02.
