Rifle Edged by No. 17 North Georgia

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Citadel mixed rifle team was narrowly edged out, 4,572-4,520, by No. 17 North Georgia on Saturday.
 
Cameron Bates led the Bulldogs with an aggregate total of 1,134 to finish fourth overall. Max Brabston was right behind Bates with a 1,133. Riley Neiders was the top shooter on the women's team with an aggregate total 1,053.
 
Three-Position Smallbore
  • Cameron Bates led the Bulldogs in smallbore with a score of 569.
  • The score was good enough to place third.
  • Max Brabston finished sixth with a score of 554.
  • Emily Perkins shot a 550 to finish eighth.
  • Riley Neiders was the top finisher for the women's team with a 546.
 
Air Rifle
  • Charlotte Welsh continued her strong freshman campaign as she posted the top air rifle score with a 589.
  • Brabston finished fourth with a score of 579.
  • Perkins was fifth after shooting 576.
  • Demi Perez paced the women's team with a 522 to finish 10th.
