How It Happened
- Megan Ikeda shot the best opening nine with a three-over par 39.
- Mackenzie Battle played in her first tournament this season and shot an opening-nine 40. She followed it up with a 41 on the back nine.
- Sarah Smith recorded the only birdie of the day on the par-5 fourth. She would go on to shoot a 43 on the front nine.
- Nadia Sandler shot the third-best opening nine with a 42.
