HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Citadel women's golf team returns to the course this weekend as they participate in the Lowcountry Intercollegiate at the Bear Creek Golf Course in Hilton Head, South Carolina on March 13-14.
The 36-hole event will be played with 18 holes each day. Each school will be grouped together with all five team members playing in the same group. The event will start at 8:15 a.m. Saturday morning, with Sunday's round getting underway at 8:30 a.m.

USC Upstate, Presbyterian, Winthrop, The Citadel, UNC Asheville, Lipscomb, Gardner-Webb, Appalachian State, Elon, UNCG, Albany, Youngstown State, FAU, Dayton, Charleston Southern, USC Beaufort, Wofford College
The Bulldogs will utilize the same lineup that they did in the opening tournament two weeks ago. The five players include Nadia Sandler, Sarah Smith, Mackenzie Battle, Megan Ikeda and Paige Gilstrap.
Battle led the Bulldogs in her first tournament of the season with a 54-hole total of 234. The total included a career-low 73 in the second round.
Smith shot the second-best round of the tournament when she fired a second-round 75. Ikeda was the third Bulldog to fire a round in the 70s with a third-round 78.
The Bulldogs next event will be March 27-28 at the Oldfield Intercollegiate hosted by USC Beaufort. The event will be held at the Oldfield Golf Club in Okatie, South Carolina.
