FINAL RESULTS

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Citadel mixed rifle team finished fourth at the Southern Conference Championships held on the campus of VMI.
 
The Bulldogs finished with an aggregate total of 4568. The women's team finished with an aggregate total of 4325
 
How it Happened

• The Bulldogs entered the day in fourth place after shooting a 2246 in smallbore on Saturday.
• The Citadel shot a 2,322 in air rifle on Sunday.
• The score was the second-highest total of the day.
• Max Brabston led the Bulldogs with a score of 587 to finish third.
• Charlotte Welsh shot a 584 to finish fifth.
• Emily Perkins placed seventh with a score of 582.
• Demi Perez was the top shooter for the women's team with 576. She finished 15^th.

 
All-Conference Honors

• Charlotte Welsh was selected as the Freshman of the Year. She finished ninth overall at the conference championship with an aggregate total of 1143.
• Welsh was also a first-team all-conference selection in air rifle.
• Cameron Bates was named to the smallbore all-conference first team.
• He was also tabbed a second-team selection in air rifle.
• Max Brabston garnered second-team all-conference accolades in smallbore.
