How it Happened
- UNCG opened the game on a 10-2 run before Citadel answered with five straight to draw to within one possession.
- The Spartans regained momentum as the Bulldogs struggled shooting-wise, making just 26.9 percent in the opening half (7-of-26), including 1-of-14 on threes, for a 33-18 UNCG lead at halftime.
- The Citadel found its footing early in the second half with seven straight points, including back-to-back triples from Brent Davis and Tyler Moffe.
