CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel head track and field coach Jody Huddleston announced the 2022 indoor and outdoor schedules on Friday.
 
The men's and women's teams open the indoor season on Jan. 21-22 at the Carolina Challenge in Columbia. The teams will return to Columbia the following week for the South Carolina Invitational (Jan. 29-29).
 
The Bulldogs open the month of February at the Champion Team Challenge at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Feb. 10. They close out the indoor regular season at the UofSC Indoor Open on Feb. 18.
 
The 2022 Southern Conference Indoor Championships will take place on Feb. 26-27 in Lexington, Virginia.
 
The Bulldogs travel up the coast to begin the outdoor season as they participate in the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge on March 11-12.
 
The Bulldogs head to Columbia on March 25-26 for the Weems Baskin Invitational, before opening the month of April at the Bill Carson Invitational (April 1-2).
 
The Citadel returns to Columbia for back-to-back events in late April. The Bulldogs will compete in the Gamecock Invitational on April 16 and the UofSC Outdoor Open on April 23.
 
The 2022 SoCon Outdoor Championships will be held April 30-May 1 in Birmingham, Alabama. The NCAA East Prelims will be held in Bloomington, Indiana on May 25-28, and the NCAA Championships will take place on June 8-11 in Eugene, Oregon.
